Wongsakorn Law Firm Awards Certificates of Internship Completion to Chinese Language Interns from Thammasat University.

On 24 July 2026, Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, Director and Attorney at Wongsakorn Law Firm, presented a Certificate of Congratulations to Ms. Amphon chaisodsai (Paul), an internship student from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Chinese Language and Culture Program, Thammasat University, in recognition of her successful completion of her professional internship at Wongsakorn Law Firm.

Completing this internship marks another important milestone in Paul’s academic and professional journey. Unlike many of her peers, she chose a distinctive internship path by applying her knowledge of the Chinese language to the legal profession. This unique experience enabled her to develop practical skills in legal translation, cross-cultural communication, and legal practice—an opportunity that is both challenging and rarely available, providing a strong foundation for her future career.

Throughout her internship, Paul gained invaluable learning experiences beyond the classroom. While Chinese language students typically undertake internships in businesses or organizations focused on language and communication, her placement at a law firm provided a unique opportunity to experience the legal profession and judicial process firsthand.

During her internship, she observed legal proceedings, followed case management processes, and had the opportunity to serve as a Chinese interpreter in court, facilitating communication between the parties involved and the court during judicial proceedings. This was an exceptionally rare and valuable experience, as only a small number of students are afforded such opportunities. Even members of the general public seldom have the chance to witness real courtroom litigation firsthand, making this internship an extraordinary milestone in her academic and professional development.

In addition to serving as a Chinese interpreter, Paul was entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities throughout her internship. These included translating legal documents for the firm’s legal department, translating the firm’s articles and promotional content into Thai, English, and Chinese for publication on its website, translating quotations and business documents into Chinese, and assisting the Wongsakorn Law Firm team in communicating and coordinating with Chinese clients.

These diverse responsibilities enabled her to further strengthen her language proficiency while developing essential skills in communication, teamwork, and professional collaboration. More importantly, the internship provided her with valuable hands-on experience in applying Chinese language skills within both legal and business contexts, effectively bridging academic knowledge with real-world practice.

Wongsakorn Law Firm is truly honored to have had the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of a student from Thammasat University, one of Thailand’s leading academic institutions renowned for producing highly qualified graduates who continue to make meaningful contributions to society.

Wongsakorn Law Firm Shares Practical Experience with Chinese Language Interns

On 30 June 2026, Wongsakorn Law Firm held a certificate presentation ceremony for Ms. Patcharaporn Phosarat (Nesle), a student from the Department of East Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, following the successful completion of her two-month professional internship.
The certificate was presented by Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, Managing Director of Wongsakorn Law Firm, in recognition of her dedication and achievements throughout the internship, while also encouraging her as she embarks on her future career path.

Throughout her internship, Nesle gained hands-on experience in the firm’s Corporate Communications Department, where she fully utilized her Chinese language skills. Her responsibilities included serving as a Chinese interpreter, assisting lawyers with Chinese-language matters, translating legal documents, translating articles for the firm’s website, and creating and updating Chinese-language content on Douyin to support communication with Chinese clients. These valuable practical experiences are difficult to acquire through classroom learning alone.

On the occasion, Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri shared the firm’s vision behind welcoming student interns. He noted that the continuous growth of Chinese investment and business activities in Thailand has significantly increased the demand for professionals who possess Chinese language proficiency and can apply those skills in the legal field. By offering internship opportunities, the firm aims to help develop high-quality talent equipped with practical experience and prepared to meet the evolving needs of the future job market and business sector.

Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri also shared a message with all students:
“An internship is real work.” he emphasized that an internship is a valuable opportunity because it allows students not only to learn the practical aspects of their work but also to understand organizational culture, collaborate with colleagues, become familiar with office workflows, develop time management and a sense of responsibility, and adapt to a real working environment. These experiences help build resilience, strengthen professional readiness, and give students the confidence to enter the job market.

Wongsakorn Law Firm firmly believes that investing in the development of the younger generation is an important step toward cultivating high-quality professionals for both society and the legal profession in the future.
