On July 17, 2026, Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, Managing Director of Wongsakorn Law Firm, presented a certificate to Ms. Natnicha Pruittipongkul, also known as Mavy, a student from the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, upon the completion of her legal internship at the firm. Throughout her internship, Mavy had the opportunity to closely observe and learn about the work of lawyers, both in the office and through actual fieldwork. This experience was entirely different from studying in a classroom. In this column, we share an interview with Mayvie about her experience as an intern at Wongsakorn Law Firm and what it is like to intern at a law firm.
Interview with Mavy, a Legal Intern from the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University
Q: Why did you choose to intern at a law firm?
A: “Legal work is actually very diverse. Many people may aim to work in the public sector, such as interning at a court or at a public prosecutor’s office. However, I wanted to try something different. To understand what happens before a case reaches the court, you need to intern at a law firm. That is how you learn about the procedures at this stage and understand how to proceed correctly when the case goes to court.”
Q: What did you do during your internship?
A: “I had the opportunity to do many different tasks during my internship. I began drafting complaints, writing motions, preparing sets of documents for filing a lawsuit, and drafting statements. I was able to do many things, which helped me realize that there is a great deal of preparation and many documents required before a case can be brought before the court.”
Q: What places did you have the opportunity to visit during your internship here?
A: “I had the opportunity to visit places I had never imagined I would be able to go. The first place I visited was where I paid my respects before the royal remains of the Queen Mother. It was a very meaningful opportunity for me, and I never thought I would have the chance to experience something like that. I also had the opportunity to go on a study visit to Parliament. Parliament is one of the most important institutions in the legal field because it forms the foundation of the lawmaking process. Since Parliament is responsible for enacting laws, we had the opportunity to observe the process at its source. I was also able to attend and observe a parliamentary debate and take a tour of the new Parliament building. I also had the opportunity to visit a police station to file a complaint. A client came to the law firm with a rather unfortunate case, so we accompanied the victim to file a formal complaint with the police. As many people may already know, filing a complaint with the police can be a time-consuming process. Handling a single complaint may take several hours, and in some cases, it can take up to ten hours because the police officers need to conduct an interview and record the statement. However, through my internship, I learned that the process can be made faster and that both the victim and our team can save time by preparing the information in advance, printing the relevant documents, and drafting a preliminary statement. This allows the police to gain an initial understanding of the case and proceed more quickly. I learned that preparing the information beforehand is extremely important. It not only helps speed up the process but also ensures that the details provided are complete.”
Q: What kind of case did you observe at the court?
A: “I went to court to observe the examination of witnesses in a defamation case. The two parties had previously been romantically involved. In this case, the man was the plaintiff who filed a lawsuit against the woman as the defendant. A well-intentioned person sent the man an audio recording of the woman’s conversation while she was being questioned by an investigation committee. This case made me more aware of the importance of communication. The fact that someone was able to send an audio recording made me realize that our conversations may be recorded, or that our voices may easily be altered and used in other ways. Therefore, I have become more careful about how I communicate.”

On 30 June 2026, Wongsakorn Law Firm held a certificate presentation ceremony for Ms. Patcharaporn Phosarat (Nesle), a student from the Department of East Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, following the successful completion of her two-month professional internship. The certificate was presented by Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, Managing Director of Wongsakorn Law Firm, in recognition of her dedication and achievements throughout the internship, while also encouraging her as she embarks on her future career path.

Her responsibilities included serving as a Chinese interpreter, assisting lawyers with Chinese-language matters, translating legal documents, translating articles for the firm’s website, and creating and updating Chinese-language content on Douyin to support communication with Chinese clients. By offering internship opportunities, the firm aims to help develop high-quality talent equipped with practical experience and prepared to meet the evolving needs of the future job market and business sector.
Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri also shared a message with all students: “An internship is real work.” he emphasized that an internship is a valuable opportunity because it allows students not only to learn the practical aspects of their work but also to understand organizational culture, collaborate with colleagues, become familiar with office workflows, develop time management and a sense of responsibility, and adapt to a real working environment. These experiences help build resilience, strengthen professional readiness, and give students the confidence to enter the job market.
Wongsakorn Law Firm firmly believes that investing in the development of the younger generation is an important step toward cultivating high-quality professionals for both society and the legal profession in the future.

In the afternoon, both parties also discussed approaches to determining wage structures and managing livestream employees, with the aim of ensuring that the company’s operations remain appropriate, legally compliant, and less vulnerable to future labor disputes.

This reflected the strong relationship between Wongsakorn Law Firm and its client through its role as the company’s legal counsel. Rather than waiting for legal disputes to arise before seeking solutions, the company places great importance on legal planning as an integral part of its business operations, helping to prevent risks before they become problems.
Yaoyao Infor Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is another example of an organization that places great importance on legal risk management by consulting its legal counsel before making decisions on key business matters, whether related to labor issues, human resource management, or the formulation of internal company policies. This proactive approach enables the company to conduct its business with greater confidence, minimize legal risks, and serves as a valuable model for other organizations seeking sustainable and long-term growth.

On 9 July 2026, officers from the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau, led by Pol. Maj. Gen. Wiwat Khamchamnan, Deputy Commissioner of the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau, together with commanders and officers from several agencies, including CCIB Division 3, the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), and the Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (TICAC), executed a search warrant issued by the Sakon Nakhon Provincial Court. The officers searched a residence in Sakon Nakhon Province and arrested a suspect under an arrest warrant in connection with offences involving the importation of obscene computer data and the dissemination or forwarding of such data. The case remains under investigation and is proceeding through the legal process.
During the search, officers seized several items related to photography and data storage, including cameras, memory cards, a laptop computer, USB flash drives, and mobile phones, for further examination as evidence. Police said the investigation is being expanded to determine whether there are additional victims or other individuals involved. Authorities are also examining financial transactions and any conduct that may be linked to other criminal offences. If further evidence is found, legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.
The case began when several victims sought assistance after being threatened that their private photos or videos would be made public, or after discovering that their photos had been shared without their consent. Some victims also found that their images had been used in advertisements for online gambling websites. As a result, many suffered serious harm to their reputation, education, employment, and mental well-being, leaving them afraid to live their lives as normal.
In this case, Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri of Wongsakorn Law Firm has begun assisting the victims since the early stage of the legal proceedings. He provided legal advice, helped plan the collection of evidence, and coordinated with the relevant authorities to ensure that the case was handled as thoroughly as possible. Lawyer Arm revealed that the case initially began when several university students from northern Thailand sought legal assistance after being threatened with the release of their intimate photos and private videos. As the facts were investigated, the matter gradually developed into a more complex case.
Drawing on his experience in assisting victims, Lawyer Arm said that crimes of this nature no longer end with the release of intimate photos or videos. In many cases, such content is later used for blackmail or commercial gain, such as promoting illegal websites or extorting money from victims. Many victims are reluctant to report these crimes because they fear being judged or stigmatized by society. In reality, however, victims are entitled to legal protection under the law.
Wongsakorn Law Firm has also found that more victims facing similar situations continue to seek legal advice. Many have been threatened by former partners, while others have had their private photos shared in online groups or used to extort money or generate profits for offenders. Lawyer Arm offered this advice: even when two people are in a loving relationship, taking private photos or videos may be done with mutual consent. However, once those files exist in digital form, they always carry the risk of being misused if the relationship comes to an end.
Another important misconception is that once a private photo or video has been leaked, the best solution is to stay silent and hope the issue fades away. In reality, such content may continue to spread across other platforms, be used for unlawful gain, or become connected to other criminal activities. Victims should not ignore the situation. Instead, they should preserve all available evidence and seek legal advice from a qualified professional as soon as possible to prevent further harm.
Wongsakorn Law Firm, led by Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, reaffirms its commitment to assisting victims of all forms of online crime, including threats involving intimate images, being blackmailed, the unauthorized use of personal images, and other violations of online rights. Anyone who believes they have become a victim should not face the situation alone. They are encouraged to consult a lawyer as early as possible to develop an appropriate legal strategy and carefully plan each step of the legal process. A well-prepared legal strategy is the key to protecting victims’ rights and bringing offenders to justice.
On 1 July 2026, Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri of Wongsakorn Law Firm, acting as the legal counsel for renowned Thai singer Hai Arpaporn Nakornsawan, attended a press conference at the Technology Crime Suppression Division 2 (TCSD Division 2) regarding a high-profile case that has attracted widespread public attention. The case involves the unauthorized use of artificial intelligence (AI) to create deepfake videos using Ms. Hai’s face and voice to promote online gambling websites. The unauthorized content has damaged her reputation and could mislead the public into believing that she is associated with those gambling websites.
At the press conference, the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau, under the direction of Pol.Lt.Gen. Surapol Prembut, Commissioner of the Bureau, assigned Pol. Maj. Gen. Chatphandakan Klaiklueng, Deputy Commissioner, and Pol.Maj.Gen. Siriwat Deepor, Commander of Technology Crime Suppression Division 1, together with relevant officers, announced the results of an operation against the online gambling network KFC888. The investigation found that the website had an annual cash flow of more than 2.5 billion baht. Officers also discovered that the network had used AI technology to generate images and voice recordings that imitated Hai Arpaporn Nakornsawan in advertisements designed to persuade the public to gamble online, even though she had never given permission and had no connection whatsoever with the website. The case highlights a new form of cyber threat arising from the misuse of AI technology.
Further investigation revealed that a Payment Gateway service provider was involved in processing financial transactions for the online gambling website. As a result, officers carried out search operations at two targeted locations, where they seized computers, mobile phones, and a large number of important documents for use as evidence in the legal proceedings. In addition, summonses have been issued to individuals connected to the case. The investigation is also being expanded to identify other members of the network, while authorities continue tracing financial transactions in order to locate and seize assets that may have been obtained through illegal activities.
Following the incident, Hai Arpaporn Nakornsawan shared a message with the public, especially those whose identities have been impersonated or whose images, voices, or personal information have been used online without permission: “Don’t be afraid to file a police report. Don’t be afraid to consult a lawyer. There is nothing embarrassing about it. If you discover that your personal information has been used without your permission, take action immediately.” Her message highlights the importance of protecting one’s legal rights and not allowing offenders to remain unpunished and continue harming others.
According to Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, handling online crime cases today involves more than simply collecting evidence or filing a police report. An equally important step is planning the legal strategy and carefully analyzing the facts before entering the legal process. Decisions made at each stage of a case may affect its direction, the ability to identify and apprehend the offenders, and the collection of additional evidence later in the investigation. A well-planned legal strategy from the very beginning can improve the effectiveness of the case and reduce the risk of mistakes that may affect the rights of the victim.
Based on its experience in handling and advising on cybercrime cases, Wongsakorn Law Firm has found that many victims file a police report immediately without first preparing sufficient evidence or carefully planning their legal strategy. As a result, some may miss the opportunity to preserve important evidence or take certain actions that could benefit the case. For this reason, consulting a lawyer at an early stage is an important factor in helping ensure that legal proceedings are handled more effectively and thoroughly.
Wongsakorn Law Firm would like to take this opportunity to remind artists, actors, influencers, content creators, students, internet personalities, and the general public that the use of AI technology to create fake faces, voices, or videos of individuals for product advertising, fraud, or the promotion of online gambling websites is becoming increasingly common. If you discover that your identity has been impersonated, or that your image, voice, or personal information has been used without your permission, you should preserve all available evidence and seek legal advice as soon as possible to protect your rights and minimize potential damage.
Wongsakorn Law Firm would like to thank Hai Arpaporn Nakornsawan for placing her trust in Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri as her legal counsel in this important case. The firm remains committed to providing legal advice and representation in online crime cases, unauthorized use of images, AI-related impersonation and deepfake cases, and other identity fraud cases, with the goal of protecting the rights of victims to the fullest extent possible. If you are facing a similar situation, you should consult a lawyer as early as possible to develop an appropriate legal strategy before filing a police report. Careful planning from the beginning can help ensure a more effective legal process and better protect the interests of the victim throughout the justice system.

Many attendees remarked that the rainfall felt like a blessing from nature, representing hopes for the firm’s continued growth and future success.
The opening of Building C represents far more than an expansion of office space. It stands as a symbol of Wongsakorn Law Firm’s ongoing commitment to organizational development, raising the standard of legal services, and continuing to serve both the public and the business community with integrity, fairness, and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law.
On 25 June 2026, Wongsakorn Law Firm, under the leadership of Mr. Krit Silpachai, Member of Parliament for Rayong from the People’s Party, together with Lawyer Arm Supasit Siri, brought a group of 12 lawyers, staff members, and interns from the firm on a study visit to Sappaya-Sapasathan, Thailand’s new Parliament House. The visit provided participants with the opportunity to learn about Thailand’s legislative institution firsthand.
The study visit was warmly welcomed by the Parliament staff. Participants were introduced to the history, design concept, and significance of Sappaya-Sapasathan through an introductory video before touring several important areas within the Parliament building, including the Parliament Museum, the Ceremonial Hall, and the Golden Pinnacle Ornament exhibition. These exhibits beautifully reflect Thailand’s history, politics, and cultural heritage.
Another highlight of the visit was the opportunity to observe a House of Representatives sitting from the public gallery. This allowed the participants to gain a close understanding of the work of the legislative branch, learn about the roles and responsibilities of Members of Parliament, as well as the legislative process and the scrutiny of government administration. It was a highly valuable learning experience for legal practitioners and students pursuing a legal career.
For the interns who participated in this visit, it was a valuable opportunity to broaden their perspectives beyond the classroom. They experienced the working environment of the country’s legislative institution firsthand and gained insight into how the democratic process operates in practice. This valuable experience will help them further develop their academic knowledge and professional skills in the future.
Wongsakorn Law Firm would like to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Krit Silpachai, Member of Parliament for Rayong from the People’s Party, for providing this valuable opportunity for the study visit. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all Parliament officials for their warm welcome and thoughtful assistance throughout the visit. This visit was more than just a study tour. It enriched the participants’ knowledge and understanding, while also inspiring them to continue working for society under the principles of the rule of law and a stable democratic system.
The transfer of legal knowledge from practical experience into the classroom is considered an important mission in developing personnel within the country’s justice system, particularly for police cadets who will become key forces in law enforcement and the delivery of justice to the public in the future.

Maj. Gen. Komin Singkhao, Commander of the Education Service Center, Royal Police Cadet Academy, and under the academic oversight of Pol. Col. Uthen Nuipin, Program Director.
This lecture was part of the training program of the PSS Course, Class 15, under the subject “Criminal Procedure Law, Parts 3–4 and 6–7.” The content delivered covered key issues related to the practical duties of police officers in the future, including motor vehicle insurance law, legal approaches to alcohol level calculation and retrospective assessment, as well as the process of preliminary hearing proceedings, all of which are highly significant in the practical conduct of criminal cases.
The lecture atmosphere was intensive and received strong interest from the police cadets. Participants engaged in discussions, raised legal questions, and inquired about practical experiences from real cases occurring in society, reflecting their commitment to learning and preparation before entering their duties as law enforcement officers.
Wongsakorn Law Firm is highly honored to contribute to the transfer of legal knowledge and professional experience to a leading educational institution of the country, and reaffirms its commitment to continuously support the development of personnel within the justice system, in order to help build a society that respects the law and upholds the rule of law in a sustainable manner.
